NASA mini cords are the same superior quality as the original with a more compact vertical style binder with shorter clips. The V2 is our final revision, smaller and stronger binder with a streamlined fail prof binding system.
*NASA cords come equipped with the highest conductive wire available in a super slim & flexible cable. The sleek Teflon outer shielding provides superior strength & durability. Conveniently very lightweight, its non porous surface is oil & chemical resistant making it very easy to keep clean as well. The unique low profile clip design is very user friendly, featuring high tension fatigue resistant spring clips that offer a solid connection & adjustability that fits all types of machines. The binders are made from industrial strength electrical isolation material, CNC machined locally with our unique interlocking design providing a stable fail-prof construction. No more loose connections, wobbly clips, or broken wires. All hardware is of highly conductive materials as well. Finished with a heavy duty gold plated mono plug ensuring a final quality connection. The shrink wrap is heavy duty marine grade to ensure everything stays sealed & secured. The small but strong magnetic attaches to an any steel surface for user convenience. No more cords slipping off onto the ground.
NASA cords come in standard 6 ft. length only. You shouldn’t need to be any further away from your work station. NASA Cords also come in high quality gold plated RCA connections in straight or 90 degree angle. Select variation at checkout.
NASA cord material is very limited and are made in small batches only. Each cord is handmade with honest quality control by real Tattooers and actual custom service. Lifetime guarantee on the entire binder construction, all other parts are subject to wear over time, accidents & misuse.
*note: NASA Cords have been proven to provide the highest conductivity with the lowest resistance possible within the power demands of our application. When using a NASA cord you will notice your machines running smoother & more efficient. Your machines will run lower volts with more or equal force & little to no heat provided your machines are running properly. Poorly tuned machines will not see much benefit. The wire used in the NASA cords has the highest conductivity available and is the perfect gauge. The design, material, & shielding provides extremely low resistance, effectively allowing your machine to accurately use the selected voltage your power supply is delivering.
When it comes to clip cords our industry standard is junk! It’s been the same for a long time. NASA cords are here to change that!
All other cords on the market use some over sized fancy looking guitar cable, speaker wire or undersized coaxial you can buy on Amazon. Yeah, it works but it’s not quality you can truly trust. Our extensive testing has proven every other cord on the market actually increase unnecessary resistance. The increase in resistance causes an increase in amps which will demand more volts and create more heat. This is all due to or a combination of either poor quality wire, wrongly sized wire, weak and or loose connections, low quality hardware and also particular bimetals. All those factors will all contribute to a machine not running as good as it could.
Resistance is everything to a tattoo machine. Without it, it won’t work but to minimize it within the coefficient range is optimal. A quality machine and power supply is important so why not have the best connection as well…
